Is He Family? is a collaboration with my former drama teacher, Neil, exploring queerness, kinship and belonging across generations. Taking its title from the coded language once used within queer communities, the project reflects on chosen family, empathy and shared experience. Set within the theatre and featuring obecjts from Neil’s home, the work moves beyond the erotic lens often placed on queer identity, offering instead a tender dialogue between two lives intertwined through care and creative play.
